Jack, on my Toshiba laptop, 11.1 added what turned out to be a bogus device, as ath0. That was configured using the values that were originally set for my original atheros card. It disabled that original card, which had been set up to use ath_pci by madwifi, and which was now called wlan0. (The original card was disabled, and its configuration removed.) Thanks for the reply, Jerry, I'm trying to get my att aircard ( cellphone) card to work with suse 11.1. I have not tried to see if my wireless card for the laptop is working yet. I been told that all wireless including cellphone card would be easier in opensuse 11.1 an sled 11 at my novell training class this past week. The guy doing the keynote the second day ( his name was guy ) just stuck an aircard in from att from someone in the crowd and configured it in matter on 2 minutes. I'm not sure of what to use for the username an password because in windows I never had to enter them. -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse+help@opensuse.org
