[12-19-08 21:33]: I'm at home, where my internet connection is much better than at work. I have a 10 Mb/s cable modem here.
Brighthouse provides 16/2 locally, central Indiana, and AT&T knocked on my door yesterday announcing local fiber an 18/1.6, which interests me, but only interests.
I am presently seeding 11.1 x86_64 @ 100mb, since 11am yesterday.
I feel your pain. I can remember the days before cable when I would download mandrake 7.0 -7.2 over a 28.8 modem 3.5 days and you just prayed that you didn't lose power or take a phone hit. It still take 8.5 + hours with 1M cable.
I currently have x86-64 installing. After a very full package selection it showed 34 minutes of install time left. I've got about 20 of that left.
I remember the BBS days when it took an hour to fill a floppy! -- Use OpenOffice.org http://www.openoffice.org -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse+help@opensuse.org
