I encrypted my /home folder using the yast partitioner in openSUSE 11.0. Normally if I had to reinstall suse for doing something really stupid I could easily remount it during a re-install with out re-formating the partition. I just installed openSUSE 11.1 today and the new yast partitioner wont let me mount my encrypted /home folder. In 11.0 I could just check box "Encrypt file system" with out re-formating it. In 11.1 it's grayed out and the only way to make the option available is to check box "Format partition". How do I mount my encrypted /home folder in 11.1?
Then, don't mount it during installation. Install without it (create a /home folder if you need), then mount the encripted partition after installation. - -- Cheers, Carlos E.
