When I try to play a wav file in FireFox, it doesn't know how to play it.
For example, I can look up a work on http://www.merriam-webster.com/ and try to listen to the pronunciation sample. FireFox won't play it unless I use the "Play this with your default audio player" link, which essentially downloads the file and opens it in RealPlayer.
If you want to hear it w/o "Play this with your default audio player" you would need a plugin which handles "audio/x-wav". I don't know offhand which plugins provide that but I guess totem or mplayerplug-in should.
Thanks, mplayerplug-in fixed it. JW -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse+help@opensuse.org
