Opensuse 10.2 (yeah, I know). I'm trying to read a SanDisk Micromate usb flashcard with pictures from a camera, but so far I did not succeed. The device shows up in /dev/disk/by-id as usb-SanDisk_SDDR-113_000000009412 and dmesg shows that it has been recognized: ----- usb 1-5: new high speed USB device using ehci_hcd and address 9 usb 1-5: new device found, idVendor=0781, idProduct=a7c1 usb 1-5: new device strings: Mfr=3, Product=4, SerialNumber=2 usb 1-5: Product: SDDR-113 usb 1-5: Manufacturer: SanDisk usb 1-5: SerialNumber: 000000009412 usb 1-5: configuration #1 chosen from 1 choice scsi6 : SCSI emulation for USB Mass Storage devices usb-storage: device found at 9 usb-storage: waiting for device to settle before scanning Vendor: SanDisk Model: SDDR-113 Rev: 9412 Type: Direct-Access ANSI SCSI revision: 00 sd 6:0:0:0: Attached scsi removable disk sdc sd 6:0:0:0: Attached scsi generic sg2 type 0 usb-storage: device scan complete ----- but it does not automount and when I try to mount manually either using /dev/sdc or /dev/disk/by-id/usb-SanDisk_SDDR-113_000000009412 I get the message "No media found" Maybe the filesystem is not recognized (I tried ntfs and auto), but I have no idea what filesystem is used by a camera.
