Listmates, rdesktop is an excellent application. I am trying to get the seamless mode worked out but I am running into problems. When I try to connect in seamless mode I end up getting a full-screen display of the entire windows desktop. I am using: rdesktop -u david -g 1280x800 -E -x l \ -A -s 'seamlessrdpshell notepad.exe' \ ripper.3111skyline.com & All of the documentation I have read say this should work. I can get a semi-seamless result when switching between normal and seamless mode, which is pretty cool. Having the kicker running on the bottom of the screen and the WinXP Taskbar and menu available on the top edge of the screen is pretty impressive. However the seamless mode gets fritzed out when launching seamless applications. (Don't run compiz at the same time -- very interesting results) Has anybody else had luck launching single apps in seamless mode? Are, am I completely reading something the wrong way. Thanks. I will get back to all my backlogged emails soon, work has reared its ugly head lately... -- David C.
