Having recently installed the latest kernel patch, I have found that the system crashes if I leave it long enough. Symptoms are similar to a memory leak in that sometimes Segment violations occur, sometimes various parts of KDE are overwritten. The machine sometimes reboots, but the results is a corrupted system which can only be cleared by a hardware reset. I'm not sure if it is a KDE or a kernel problem.
Which kernel? I am using 2.6.18.8-0.13-default on 10.2, have been up for 12 days on a row and everything is in ship shape. As far as I know I installed every patch in sight.
