I'm surprised k3b hasn't been fixed yet maybe kde4 users don't use it anymore. It works for me ... Well, OK, the one that came with the 11.0 liveCD didn't. But I've updated since then ... currently running
kde4-k3b-4.1.3.svn881374-4.7
and just burnt a stack of CDs. Do remember to load the codecs etc. Er, what codecs does one need and which rpms are they in?
It depends on what you are burning.
Data ... audio ... video.
I burn data. K3b complains it can't find codecs but I don't care.
Try telling YAST to search for k3b and see if any codecs show up.
Try the opensuse-codecs-installer.
Failing that, try google.
