Listmates, I can usually make konqueror do anything I want to make it do as far file associations go. However, I'm stumped on how to make konquerer "Show file in embedded viewer" on left click action for my bash scripts (file type x-shellscript). In configure konqueror -> File Associations -> Applications -> x-shellscript, under the "Embedding" tab, I have "Left Click Action" set to "Show file in embedded viewer" and under "Services Preference Order" "Embedded Advanced Text Editor" as the top item. These settings are the same as the settings I have for text/plain group which defaults to "Use settings for 'text' group" which defaults to "Show file in embedded viewer" and shows my text files just fine. However with x-shellscript, with the settings above, when I left click a script, I get nothing and end up having to right-click and then manually select view in embedded viewer to accomplish the task. What is the trick to being able to view my scripts on left-click by having them displayed in the embedded viewer? -- David C. Rankin, J.D., P.E.
