[opensuse] zypper cli and yast frontend

Hi, is there a difference in the functionality of: zypper up -t package -t patch and using software management module in Yast/Packages/All packages/update if newer version is available? For what I see, they behave differently. What is the correct CLI zypper command to get the same behavior?
