I am running SuSE11.0 and one of the features that we rely on seems to have disappeared? We need the ability to VNC into remote systems and connect to the "live" desktop, NOT login to a new session. In Sax2 there use to be a setup for remote admin /VNC that allowed us to interact with other SuSE systems "live" desktop via port 5900. This is no longer an option in Sax2? Krfb does not seem to work either, clicking on it launches it but it and places it in the systray, but it seems to be disabled. Restoring it, starting it, and setting it to accept remote connections all seems to work but it does not accept an incoming connection. The xinet VNC daemons go through a KDM login which we do not want. So how do we get a VNC connection to a live desktop, in particular one that does NOT require a user at the system to accept an incoming connect? (These computers are often unmanned and will have running apps which we must be able to monitor remotely) Marc.. -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse+help@opensuse.org
