I'm using an acer bluetooth mouse with Ferrari4000 laptop seri; despite this hardware worked very well under suse10.2, since I've upgraded with suse11.0, it is impossible to recognize any more this device; strangely, the daemon hid seems to don't be present on system while hcid is (for mobile phones and so on); wireless mouse runs with hidd. Any suggestion?
Hi Michel,
From what I can tell in 11.0, it's all handled by hcid. There is no more Bluetooth module in YaST either, and you can simply use bluetooth-applet (in Gnome) to configure your devices.
What I did was use bluetooth-applet to bind with my mouse and all was well. If you're still having problems, can you please specify what, exactly, is not working? Cheers, henare -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse+help@opensuse.org
