I've changed the 'homepage' to another website, and still it starts up with the opensuse irl in the location bar(?). I've cleared the history. I've checked a hundred times all my settings in konqueror and nowhere can I find a place to stop/delete/make it go away.
How the heck do I get it to stop this? It's driving me nuts! settings -> save view profile.
Hi Benji,
I looked at that and clicked on 'save' for 'web browsing', then deleted the opensuse.org url in the history and closed Konqueror. I then opened it again, and it's still there doing the same thing. The save view profile thing isn't very clear what it's supposed to do or how to use it. I don't know if I'm supposed to keep the 'keep urls' check-marked or not or anything.
Any other ideas? I really am getting sick of this trying to force me to the opensuse.org site every time I open Konqueror.
Really: Settings -> Save View Profile "Web Browsing..." -> check "Save URLs in Profile" and hit save. Works fine here. -- David C. Rankin, J.D., P.E.
