Is there an top-like application that can present a graph of cpu & memory utilization over time? And also write history to a file?
Thank you,
Several. Gkrellm comes to mind. Don't know about the history file bit, but there are logging plugins available. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Thanks John, however I didn't mention that I am not running X. How about something that charts cpu utilization over a 24 hour period that you can view in a web page? Any suggestions?
Ah, the present a graph thing threw me.... You can periodically (crontab) cat /proc/loadavg >>data.txt and then have a web cgi graph that if you are running a web server. Note that Gkrellm will allow you to monitor a remote machine that is not running X, as long as you have X on your monitor station. -- ----------JSA--------- There are 10 kinds of people in this world, those that can read binary and those that can't. -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse+help@opensuse.org
