Now with open suse 11.0, the "secondary" screen behaves in a weird way - windows appear without the "decoration part" (I mean where the x controls are .. "advanced, move to desktop, move, etc.". ) and I am not able to move the windows. Terminal windows just block completely.
I am using KDE 3.X
I have two monitors attached to nVidia card (GeForce 6600) with nVidia binnary drivers and they work fine, even compiz runs smoothly. All I did after installing openSUSE 11 and adding nVidia repository was configuring the screen through YaST.
I finally got it working, with "nvidia-settings", twinview enabled and a lot of fiddling around. Now I have the panel in only _one_ of the screens, but I conform with that. There was no way I could make it work with two separate x screens.. You were able to do this through sax2 ? .. ok, maybe I'll try that when I have some spare time for suse again. ;) Cheers, Sampsa
