My old reliable Epson Stylus C86 just stopped working. (parallel) Tried to print a job and nothing happened. Looked at the "K job reviewer" and it showed an error.
Then went and looked in the cups error.log and here is what I found.
Bob, Cups printing on linux does have its atavistic qualities. I've always attributed it to mood. I cannot answer why, only I've seen it a number of times as well.
