No... Try using another desktop. You are using kde, try gnome or any other you have; if it doesn't lock, then it is kde related. You could try another user, a newly created one. Or perhaps you can try swapping the keyboard/mice. I think this is getting too weird... Perhaps you should open a bugzilla.
