I'm not sure what part of yesterday's updates messed up Intel video systems, but messed up they are!!! If you're using Compiz, you might not be able to use your desktop....not even able to turn off Compiz. I've been having to uninstall Compiz logged in as root to restore access to a KDE 3.5.9 desktop! Systems still show in Yast that 3d is active, but it's not.
This is NOT good for newbies who won't have a clue how to get a desktop back!!

Hmm...
I have an Intel graphics chipset in my laptop, and it's working fine after installing the updates yesterday.
Well, I've had to "fix" 15 systems since yesterday!! Compiz is now uninstalled and it will stay that way.
