I encounter problems to read correctly a DVD on my laptop Acer-Ferrari-4000 under Suse 10.2, this hardware runs with an AMD-Thurion-64bits processor and a graphical card ATI Radeon X700, DMA mode is set on UltraDMA/33. Xine/Caffeine is unable to read a commercial DVD because of presence of pattented file formats on the DVD; Totem is apparently unable to detect the presence of the DVD; so I decided to see if ogle is more able to help me (this is true for another laptop 32bits for which i confirm ogle works very well) To install this application on 64bits mode,I definitively prefer to compile libraries and the application, instead of using RPM's; but when doing make install I have following error in ac3 module: Making install in ac3 make[1]: entrant dans le répertoire « /home/mgms/ogle/ogle-0.9.2/ac3 » source='ac3dec_wrap.c' object='ac3dec_wrap.o' libtool=no \ depfile='.deps/ac3dec_wrap.Po' tmpdepfile='.deps/ac3dec_wrap.TPo' \ depmode=gcc3 /bin/sh ../depcomp \ gcc -DPACKAGE_NAME=\"\" -DPACKAGE_TARNAME=\"\" -DPACKAGE_VERSION=\"\" -DPACKAGE_STRING=\"\" -DPACKAGE_BUGREPORT=\"\" -DPACKAGE=\"ogle\" -DVERSION=\"0.9.2\" -DSTDC_HEADERS=1 -DHAVE_SYS_TYPES_H=1 -DHAVE_SYS_STAT_H=1 -DHAVE_STDLIB_H=1 -DHAVE_STRING_H=1 -DHAVE_MEMORY_H=1 -DHAVE_STRINGS_H=1 -DHAVE_INTTYPES_H=1 -DHAVE_STDINT_H=1 -DHAVE_UNISTD_H=1 -DHAVE_DLFCN_H=1 -Dinline=__attribute__\ \(\(__always_inline__\)\) -DHAVE_BYTESWAP_H=1 -DHAVE_SYS_PARAM_H=1 -DHAVE_STROPTS_H=1 -DHAVE_XSHM=1 -DHAVE_XV=1 -DHAVE_CLOCK_GETTIME=1 -DHAVE_MADVISE=1 -DLIBOGLEAO_NULL= -DLIBOGLEAO_OSS= -DHAVE_XML=1 -DHAVE_XF86VIDMODE=1 -DHAVE_XINERAMA=1 -DCONFIG_FILE=\"/usr/local/share/ogle/oglerc\" -I. -I. -I.. -I../include -I/usr/local/include -I/usr/local/include -I/usr/include/libxml2 -g -O2 -Wall -c `test -f 'ac3dec_wrap.c' || echo './'`ac3dec_wrap.c ac3dec_wrap.c:51: error: static declaration of ‘program_name’ follows non-static declaration ../include/debug_print.h:7: error: previous declaration of ‘program_name’ was here ac3dec_wrap.c: In function ‘get_q’: ac3dec_wrap.c:278: warning: pointer targets in assignment differ in signedness make[1]: *** [ac3dec_wrap.o] Erreur 1 make[1]: quittant le répertoire « /home/mgms/ogle/ogle-0.9.2/ac3 » make: *** [install-recursive] Erreur 1 Any suggestion? Or do you know any other DVD-player application under Linux?
