[opensuse] gprahire IV tablet and gimp

Can anyone confirm that this combination will work with 11.0 and KDE4? The mouse move a and draws in GIMP as expected.. The pen moves but alas will not draw. Np combinations of pressure, will give me me a a trace onscreen. Failing that can anyone give me the name o a tablet which will work out of the box? I've given up on the Genuis tables.
