In more minds then just Carlos' I'm afraid Fred. Businesses that want stability should not be using a bleeding edge version of linux like openSUSE, they should be using the much more stable and longer supported SLES or SLED business versions.
First, they're already using mostly RH. Second, they have new hardware that isn't supported in SLES and SLED, thus I suggested 11.0 with a kernel that does support the hardware AND with the hope to get them to move to SUSE instead of RH.
How new is this hardware? Are we talking desktops or servers?
I suspect they'll just stay with RH for now.....renew their support contract.
We used to be a redhat shop - sles is much better. trust me. At this point I'd prefer ubuntu server to redhat. Joe -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse+help@opensuse.org
