is it KDE3 or KDE4 desktop, and KDE3 or KDE4 KMail.

I am using KDE 4.04 and kmail 1.9.51, I think it is kde4 kmail, though not sure. None of these bugs match what I am experiencing. I can repeatedly make kmail crash by trying to edit my settings.
