I'm confused. why do you need a ssh client in linux?
Open a shell, (konsole or xterm) and type ssh. What would you need a client?
The reason I want a client is that I want the session manager to
restart the ssh sessions automatically. Another thing is that each ssh
session uses a different port. (But, I do have the default ports set up
in ~/.ssh/config
