List, For those that know the details of the new package management scheme in 11.0, would it be feasible to backport it to 10.3. After having used it, it is orders of magnitude faster that the 10.3 scheme, but with so much effort into a number of 10.3 desktops/servers, it doesn't justify an OS upgrade alone. How interwoven is it with 11.0? Is it simply a matter of replacing a few packages or is it so tightly integrated with the 11.0 that a backport is simply a pipe-dream? -- David C. Rankin, J.D., P.E.
