Dear list,
there's a known bug inside the pearl script mysqlhotcopy which is part of the package mysql-tools in 10.3. MySQL version is 5.0.45. The bug is corrected as of MySQL 5.0.50. mysqlhotcopy is unusuable in 10.3.
In 11.0 MySQL version is 5.0.51a. I assume the bug is fixed then. Is it still worth to report a bug for 10.3? Will someone fix it if then? The best way to know for sure is to check and see whether the changelog for the version in 5.0.51a containss the fix. If it does, bugzilla it under 10.3 with a note saying it is fixed in 11. As 10.3 is still supported, it should be reported. If 11 does not contain the fix, then I uess it should be reported against both.
