Neat. I use k3b all the time but I didn't think of that trick. I also prefer gui solutions so k3b is perfect. Thanks to all for your help. By the way, can anyone recommend a good video editor suitable for a video newbie?

Try avidemux for your editing needs works quite well if you are looking to chop parts out of a video.
Sounds like it'll meet my needs. Two questions.
1. Is there any difference between the gtk version and the qt4 version other than one looks better than the other?
2. Do you know of any good tutorials? There appears to be a lot of tutorials out there and I'm not even sure of what I'm looking for except it should be very basic, preferably starting out with video basics? Any recommendations appreciated.

I use the gtk version as I had too many problems with the qt4 one. I learned by using, trial and error. -- Ken Schneider SuSe since Version 5.2, June 1998 -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse+help@opensuse.org
