So I'd imagine it should be pretty much the same.
Good luck, Shawn Holland

Hi All,
I sincerely hope this will be my last request for help for a long time.
I'm about to rebuild my system to a 32bit 10.3 install, and before I do so, I'd like to back up my email and calendar, which live in Evolution.
I have, in the past, simply copied the entire contents of my home directory. This worked fine when upgrading from 10.2 to 10.3. However, right now, my home directory is corrupted in some strange way that forces a totally blank screen after login. I've tried deleting the .gnome2 directory and letting the system rebuild intelligent defaults, but that didn't fix it. So, combined with a lot of troubles with 64 bit, I'm going to take the fresh install route.
So, the question is, precisely which directories and files must I back up in order to have a full backup of my Evolution (while, hopefully, leaving behind whatever has become poisoned)?
Many thanks, yet again. Cheers, Simon

This is HowTo move Evolution data and setup from one computer to other one or to back it up before do a bare metal installation of a new version of the OS. 1. Force shutdown. In the Old computer: $ evolution --force-shutdown In the New One: $ evolution --force-shutdown $ gconftool-2 --shutdown 2. Copy 2 folder from the old to the new. Copy the folders from old to new, you must have all files from the ~/.evolution and ~/.gconf/apps/evolution directories. If you use the same username then it is all what you need. If you change the user's name things a far more complicated. Just post it and I will help you. The easy one is to use the same user's name. -=terry(Denver)=- -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse+help@opensuse.org
