I have had one or two problems with 64bit apps and updates.
The update seems to insist on using 64bit even when there isn't one available and if I want to install something eg KHexedit I get the 64bit KDE 4 version. It has problems. There seems to be no way of asking for 32bit apps or am I missing something?

How would an update insist on installing something that was not available? Ignoring for a second the rather nihilistic nature of that statement, you can indeed install the 32bit one but you may have to install a great deal of the associated 32bit KDE as well. At which point you may as well install the 32bit version of the kernel, 32bit KDE, and be done with it. I use Khexedit and have no problems with it. -- ----------JSA--------- -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse+help@opensuse.org
