List,
KDE 3.59-53. Here is one for the kde gurus. Using konqueror, I made the mistake of setting a "picture" as a background under the:
"view"->"configure background"->"picture"
menu entry. The alternating file highlight "disappeared". I then selected:
"view"->"configure background"->"color"
and the highlight "reappeared", but the contrast was much darker than before.
PROBLEM: I can't find the setting to change the highlight colors or contrast back to where it was. I recall finding it one time, but I must be getting old. It isn't kcontrol->apprearance->colors->"shade sorted _columns_ in list"
What say the gurus?
Am no "guru" :-) but what shows up in gecko<Configure Desktop>Peripherals>Display>Monitor Gamma?
Ciao.
Hmmm. Monitor gamma? Basil, have you had a few coolies? ;-)
I think what I'm looking for inst the actual place to set the color (e.g. #0000FF) for the highlight. Thanks for the input!
Is OK. But you did say something about setting the colour (of the hightlight) and also contrast. Have you even looked at the gamma setting?
