Hi Ben,
Yes, this is caused by the Xlib.lock issues. You can find out by running opera from a console. To remedy add the following to the end of /etc/profile (as root obviously)
# # Enable lock assertion workaround # export LIBXCB_ALLOW_SLOPPY_LOCK=true
Then you'll be good..
Enjoy..
Ben
Tried this with the same result of Opera shutting down.
Sorry forgot to include the error message running it from the command line.
opera: xcb_xlib.c:52: xcb_xlib_unlock: Assertion `c->xlib.lock' failed.
We have released a libxcb online update fixing this issue. Please use and install our online updates, they also help to make your machine more secure. Ciao, Marcus -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse+help@opensuse.org
