[opensuse] ClamAV and Thunderbird

Hi all, How can I set ClamAV to scan my incoming and outgoing mail? I'm using Thunderbird 2.0 with openSUSE 10.3 and KDE 3.5. I'm not worried about incoming viruses to infect my system (if that's possible) but viruses that can get into my system and sent to my windohs friends through mail.
