Weird, seems like it's trying to install both 32 and 64 bit PHP ? I see two packages installed: # rpm -qa|grep php5-5.2.5-12.1 php5-5.2.5-12.1 apache2-mod_php5-5.2.5-12.1 php5-5.2.5-12.1 so one overwrites the other it seems. I'll try to remove both and install manually just x86_64 version. Smart is being a smartass ;) Thanks! -- Best regards, Nick Zeljkovic -----Original Message----- From: Joe Morris [mailto:Joe_Morris@ntm.org] Sent: Friday, February 01, 2008 12:13 PM To: opensuse@opensuse.org Subject: Re: [opensuse] PHP 5.2.5 on 10.1 upgrade On 02/01/2008 06:59 PM, Nick Zeljkovic wrote:
Greets!
I ran today an update from PHP 5.2.4 to 5.2.5 from: [php] type = rpm-md baseurl = http://download.opensuse.org/repositories/server:/php/SUSE_Linux_10.1/
The system is x86_64 and everything went smooth according to smart logs: # smart upgrade php5 Loading cache... Updating cache... ######################################## [100%]
Computing transaction...
Upgrading packages (19): php5-5.2.5-12.1@i586 Are you sure that one should be installed? If so, then php5-5.2.5-12.1@x86_64 Why then is this one? Looks like smart messed up.
