I have my system set at 1024x768. After I log in and go to Gnome desktop, the resolution seems like it is 800x600.
I tried using the "Control Panel" to reconfigure it back to 1024x768 and sometimes it seems to do the trick sometimes when I reboot again, the same problem happens again.
Could it be something that was installed when I chose to update the system with the latest patches.
