I have installed some astronomy programs under wine but I can not get them to display in the menu.
I can see them if I go into the menu editor.
This drove me slightly nuts in 10.2. It's something to do with the way kmenu works.I would love to hear a proper answer to this as i tried and failed miserably to understand how it works and why wine progs do this. However the easy hack I came across is simply copy and past the items you want to show from the wine sub-menu to a normally visible area of the menu. I think you can get the wine tree to show up too, by pasting a normally visible item (eg "home") into it, but I've forgotten quite how. Anyway, that's the hack. I'd love to hear a proper explanation of it all though. Hope that helps, David -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse+help@opensuse.org
