In SUSE 9.x serie there was an option in YAST2 for choosing video adapter driver. Eg. one could choose to use nv or nvidia driver with his nvidia card. In openSUSE 10.2, 10.3 I can't find this option. How can I select which driver to use without hacking xorg.conf file or deinstalling/reinstalling the proprietary nvidia driver?
You can use "switch2nvidia" or "sax2 -m 0=nvidia" as root. I'm not aware of a graphical setting for this since the redesign of sax2 in 10.0. This should be done automatically if you install the nvidia packages from their repository. -- Benjamin Weber -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse+help@opensuse.org
