Audio playback 'hangs' causing a loop of irritating noise. I have tried reinstalling the card through yast2. I als tried configuring the card with alsaconf. Both to no avail.
According to lspci have a Nvidia MCP51 soundcard, yast2 calls it a 'V6133CL' How can I can solve this? Thanks in advance!

I too am having the same problem.
The Presario V6133cl is actually a notebook model, is set at install, and cannot be removed by Yast. Nor can it be changed.
In my testing, the device is detected and installed properly by both Knoppix 5.1 and Kubuntu 7.04.
Any assistance would be welcomed.
Thanks... Tom.
