My scrollwheel doesn't work properly, my xorg.conf looks like this:
Section "InputDevice" Driver "mouse" Identifier "Mouse[1]" Option "Device" "/dev/input/mice" Option "Name" "ExplorerPS/2 on USB"
you might try "IMPS/2 on USB" and protocol "imps2"
Option "Protocol" "ExplorerPS/2" Option "Vendor" "USB-Mouse" Option "ZAxisMapping" "4 5" EndSection
Clicking the wheel (mouse button 3) works, it brings up the smooth scroll function in Firefox, but scrolling the wheel only runs Firefox through the browsing history... Is there a setting I've missed? It's a Logitech G5 Laser Mouse, by the way.....

the mouse module in sax will let you test your buttons and scroll wheel. it's probably just a matter of checking different protocols until you find one it's happy with.
