Hi again!!! :-) THANKS for your help!!! :-)
Stop using Outlook Express. That's your first fault. :P
:-) I'll gladly switch to Thunderbird, as soon as I can get rid of Windows (hopefully the next few days)! ;-)
First of all, you don't say what sort of partition structure you have.
Ooops! SORRY!!! :-( I have an IDE 230GB disk, which is partitioned (with GParted LiveCD), to: * 1 primary FAT32, (~1GB, with FreeDOS installation), * 1 primary NTFS, (~90GB with WinXP installation), * 1 extented (~100GB), occupied 100%, by 1 logical partition NTFS (I have "My Documents" there, for reducing the Windows installation space (usefull when backing up - restoring partitions, or reformating). * ~40GB unallocated space.
If you're installing just to experiment and don't forsee using the system you set up over the long term...
No!!! I came to Linux to stay! :-) I'm preffering Linux, than BSDs or Solaris for desktop use (don't get mad, just a personal preference) and I'm using for years, open source win ported multiplatform products (apps and games) (eg. Mozzila suite, OO, etc.) or platform independent (semi-interpreted) ones (usually Java or Python).
If Windows is working properly OpenSuSE will resize the partition and repartition everything just fine.
OK! I'll follow your suggestions. I have allready backup up (at DVDs) my documents and Windows installation image files, so I'll just let the installer do its job. I''' tell you what happened then. THANKS AGAIN for your help!!! ;-) Giorgos. :-) -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse+help@opensuse.org
