I guess you want to mount the first partition of your disk. Try mount /dev/sdb1 /mnt/usb
Hi Herbet, Thanks for the reply. I hoped it was going to be a "doh!" moment there. mount /dev/sdb1 /mnt/usb mount: special device /dev/sdb1 does not exist However, you're right to assume I'm a newbie, because I am :(/.
