Hello,
I was wondering if there is a way for a terminal program to startup automatically when a machine is restarted, and when you login it will show as an open window?
If not, can it be startup if a user automatically logs in to the gui?
Can it be startup just in the console with no gui? (This would be the best, as this program is running on a server and I don't need the gui running)
Thanks, Dan.
If you're running KDE, there should be a directory ~/.kde/Autostart. Place a link or script in there, to run whatever you wish to start on desktop login. -- Use OpenOffice.org http://www.openoffice.org -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse+help@opensuse.org
