[...kernel 2.6.21...]
Even if it is stable, there are some packages missing which makes it unusable for some things. Beagle (no great loss imho) was missing and something else, which escapes me (but was a show stopper) were missing from 2.6.21.
Beagle is part of the kernel?? I thought that's a desktop search engine based on *argh* Mono...
Well try upgrading to that kernel and you will see what I mean.
Beagle is not part of the kernel.
Beagle uses the inotify API, which is part of the kernel.
So what's your point? Did you see me say it was part of the kernel? Attempting to install .21 will cause yast to insist on un-installing beagle. That was my experience last time I tried. There were no sources for a compatible beagle. Beagle wasn't even my primary concern, there were other things that yast insisted had to be un-installed, which were show stoppers for me. -- _____________________________________ John Andersen -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse+help@opensuse.org
