I have done some Googling but so far have not found anything really applicable. I also tried looking through past list mail but came up with nothing. Hopefully you will be patient with me if this has been discussed somewhere under a cleverly disguised topic :-) I have had Vonage voip for almost 2 years. For a good part of that time I was using the Vonage terminal adapter as my router. Since the Vonage terminal adapter was the NAT router, it could do qos management so that the phone calls didn't suffer during a big download. Now that I am having trouble with my ISP (Comcast) I wanted to use a PC with SuSE as my NAT router instead so that I have lots of tools such as Ethereal and ntop to help me look at net problems. The only problem I have with the SuSE setup is that the Vonage terminal adapter is now on the inside of my net and phone calls suffer when there is other net loading such as when my wife is using pcAnywhere to connect to her work. Is there a way to get this SuSE NAT router setup to give first priority to the Vonage traffic, either through SuSEfirewall2 settings or even some other tool?
