In my experience, this problem is caused by a misfired adjtime file, and simply deleting it solves it (the file is recreated automatically). My "experience" is actually that of people reporting that same problem here, me telling them to delete etc, them reporting solved, me ticking a new notch in my crystal ball pedestal - so you see, I'm eagerly waiting for your final report ;-) - -- Cheers, Carlos E.
