Does smart to post-install actions by now?
Smart Package Manager http://labix.org/smart - there you will see FAQs & features
SMART Package Manager - SuSE Wiki :- http://susewiki.org/index.php?title=Smart
Index of /pub/suser-guru/smart http://ftp.skynet.be/pub/suser-guru/smart/
Sorry, but none of these URLs answers the specific question from my email. To repeat it:
The last time I looked at smart, I had to care for SuSEconfig execution and daemon restarts myself; whereas apt4rpm does this out of the box. Has this been changed by now?

AFAIK since 10.1 the packages themselves should be responsible for SuSEConfig, i.e. if a package needs it, its post-install script needs to do the job. So, smart does not do this. -- Svetoslav Milenov (Sunny) Even the most advanced equipment in the hands of the ignorant is just a pile of scrap. -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse+help@opensuse.org
