Hi, I would like to know who's using KDE in here, in the place of GNOME? As well as the distribution has decide to "switch" to GNOME, who stayed faithfull to KDE?
Optionnal question: is there a big team yet that maintains KDE and K*/Qt* apps in OpenSuSe? In other words, as _open_Suse is an almost community driven distro, has "community" blindly followed Novell's choice or is there competent people that decided to stay KDE based?
I'm using KDE and if they should only ship Gnome, I'm outa here! What an ugly interface it is!
I would be tempted to do the same.

I was using GNOME long ago on Red Hat (when Gnome was written on Scheme) and got tired. Switched to KDE and found it so much more intuitive and configurable (to my taste,of course)! One of the reasons I abandoned RH was that they switched to Gnome, made swithing back to KDE problematic and created this terrible (to my taste) mixture "Blue Curve" (well, not the main reason). Since then I'm using KDE, though nothing prohibits me from using some Gnome applications that I like.
