I have it set up like that now but the network is way too late comming up KDE is up and running B4 i get any for of connectivity and on the laptop it is even worse (i do noy use the wireless card broardcomm PITA) it seems like networking is bieng started a lot later
Go to Yast, Network Devices, Network Card, edit for your network card, General tab, and change Device Activation to "At Boot Time". It will start just like you expect.
