Nachbar hat Windows-Kiste, die 'sich seltsam verhält'. Ich will jetzt aber kein Linux installieren nur um 'mal' anti-vir laufen zu lassen. Geht das mit einer LiveCD möglichst einfach? Anti-Vir o.ä. sollte halt schon an Bord sein.
E: The problem of LiveCDs with antiviral software is IMO the problem of actuality. As you might know, a virus scanner can only detect viruses older than tht scanner's signature database.
but most of the virus-scanner are able to update there signatures if they can reach the internet ... and if they can store the new signature somewhere. And this is my problem with a LiveCD. How to store new information if I won't change the PC I'm currently try to check.
D: Das Problem von LiveCDs mit VirenScanner ist IMO die aktualitaet der VirenSignaturen. Wie du ja sicherlich weisst, erkennt der Scanner nur Viren, die aelter als er selber sind.
