Sorry I think this is becoming a FAW. Searching the archives I can see this has been asked several times before, but I can't find any actual answers to it. There's at least one reference to a thread that I couldn't find, however. Perhaps that has the secret in it. Anyway, I just took my system from 10.2rc1 to 10.2 and it seemed to work mostly OK. But, most recently, I decided to change back from Gnome to KDE, and I suddenly found that Evolution doesn't remember my passwords any more. Since there are four of them, it's really tedious to re-enter them every time. Here's what I think I know so far: 1) The failure seems to be under KDE, but not under Gnome. 2) If you _uncheck_ the save password box, then it at least _does_ remember the passwords for this session (go figure!) 3) The password request windows do not show up in the toolbar, which is a serious pain as you have to close (minimize) every other window sometimes to even find the stupid things. Otherwise it just looks like Evolution hung. Are there any fixes for this? Thanks all, Simon "You can tell whether a man is clever by his answers.
