I have installed opensuse 10.2 and alltogether I find it pretty neat. But there are some things I do not like and I think they should be changed:
From the YaST Install Sources window they removed the up and down buttons. Why? It was really good when one could change the order of install sources usnig these buttons.
Graphic card / monitor setup is still awkard. The lastest version where this process was clear was 9.3. Since that the configuration is a pain when the offered defaults are not working. Related question: I have installed the NVIDIA driver that I've downloaded form NVIDIA site and compiled. Now how can I switch between the linux default nvidia driver (nv?) and this one in sax2? I cant find any option.
There are instructions on the nvidia site where you got the driver, on the download page. It is some command line to sax2. I do not have the command line in my head. So please check nvidia's site. I did it on 10.2 and it did what it said on the tin.
Cheers, IG
