I am using 10.1 and everytime I open it up to check for new updates I see a list of stuff checked for update when I click to get the updates different or no files are downloaded am I missing something some of the stuff checked off like kernel and kde base lib updates I thought I had already applied is checked off. Does YOU work differently now??
checked off means patch has dependencies satisfied so it does not need to be applied. Since 10.1 patches work like a policy, once you install it, you only install a policy enforcing certain dependencies. Packages are grabbed only if they are needed.
